The Frame
Before the era of smartphones, photographs were finite. Every single shot mattered. You had to wait days for a roll of film to be developed just to discover if a fleeting moment had truly been captured.
Today, the opposite is true: we snap hundreds of digital photos that we rarely ever look at again.
This installation is an invitation to pause and remember the profound value of making a fleeting second tangible once more. Drawing deep inspiration from the traditional darkroom, the space envelops visitors in a world of deep blacks, crisp whites, warm cream tones, matte textures, and delicate transparencies—offering quiet, subtle nods to the tactile magic of the analog process.
OPENING FOR THE FRAME, ROMA, CDMX.
